Excerpt from Canon law [1282, 532, 537, 1280]:
"The pastor is responsible for the administration of all goods belonging to the parish. In each parish, there is to be a Parish Finance Council, distinct from the Parish Pastoral Council, to assist the pastor with these responsibilities."
The Parish Finance Council of St. Mary meets at least quarterly. Together with Fr. David, the council reviews the monthly financial reports, the annual parish budget, the annual financial report, the annual inventory of parish property and all financial audits. Together with Fr. David, the needs of the various commissions within the parish as well as the physical plant needs are reviewed and prioritized keeping in mind the pastoral priorities of St. Mary which are set by the Parish Pastoral Council.
