St. Mary Parish Vocations Committee
The mission of the Vocation Committee of St. Mary Parish is to fulfill and advance the mission of the Church to foster vocations, especially to the priesthood and consecrated life.
It is the responsibility of the committee to promote vocation awareness in the parish community through prayer, mentoring, activities and invitation.
Activities of the committee include the 31 Club, Priesthood Sunday, National Vocations Awareness Week, World Day of Prayer for Vacations, World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life, Monroe Vicariate Vocation Mass, and the Blessed Monstrance for Vocations.
The committee meets in conjunction with the Vicariate Vocation Committee 8 – 10 times a year, usually on the first Monday of the month in the Faith Formation Office (located in the breezeway of St. Mary School.
